Book, Music & Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse

Directed by Bobby Mitchum

Friday Nov 30, 2012 – Sunday Dec 16, 2012
Renowned writer-composer-lyricist Leslie Bricusse has adapted the classic Charles Dickens tale, A Christmas Carol, into the hit musical Scrooge! The musical closely follows the classic story with the miserly Ebenezer undergoing a profound experience of redemption over the course of a Christmas Eve night, after being visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.Samuel French

In conjunction with the production of “Scrooge!” we will host a sale of holiday themed window paintings by local artist Emily Myers.

The art sale will assist us with our Celebrate 25 fundraising campaign, acknowledging 25 years in our current facility. During Celebrate 25, the Dayton Playhouse is seeking $25 donations from anyone who has enjoyed working on, or attending, productions over the past 25 years.
